Atkal for flute and voice is getting its Latvian premiere on 16th of October at the National Riga Library. Alkal is dedicated to soprano Gunta Gelgote and the flutist Giedrius Gelgotas. The piece was composed after a poem of gundega smite. You can listen to the piece and read the poem below.
